About the Role:
Join Bootz & Duke Sign Company as a Journeyman Metal Fabricator, where your skills will shape the future of custom signage in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking for passionate individuals to create high-quality metal signs that bring our clients' visions to life.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components for custom signage using various tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.
- Operate welding and cutting equipment with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet company standards.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication issues as they arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in metal fabrication.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
- Proficient in welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Valid welding certification is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
