Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a self-contained classroom setting. This contract position involves driving learning and growth for a class of 11 students, with the assistance of two dedicated paraprofessionals. The role follows a four-day school week, Monday through Thursday, creating a balanced schedule for effective instruction and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs within a middle school self-contained classroom
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods to maximize educational outes
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports social and academic development

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Special Education teaching license is required
• Experience working with middle school-aged students in specialized education settings preferred
• Strong organizational, munication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and team members
