Role Overview
Reporting to the HR Director the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in supporting Trajan Wealth's continued growth by owning and executing the full-cycle recruitment process. This position works closely with hiring managers across the business to identify, attract, and hire talent that aligns with Trajan's values, culture, and long-term goals.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering a strong candidate experience, and is comfortable operating in a growing organization where processes continue to evolve.
This role is 100% onsite at our Scottsdale corporate office.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned roles, from intake through offer and onboarding, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and cultural alignment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a professional, responsive, and positive experience.
- Proactively source both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and other creative sourcing methods.
- Post and manage job openings across internal and external platforms, utilizing thoughtful sourcing strategies.
- Partner closely with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers to understand business needs, role priorities, and evolving hiring plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, dispositions, and documentation within the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Communicate hiring decisions clearly and professionally, including extending and negotiating offers and delivering rejections when appropriate.
- Assist with interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and post-hire follow-up to support a smooth and welcoming new-hire experience.
- Stay informed on recruiting trends, tools, and best practices, and contribute ideas to improve Trajan's hiring processes as the company grows.
- Support HR initiatives and administrative functions as part of cross-functional development, gaining exposure to broader people operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or Business.
- 3+ years progressive professional Recruiting experience
- Strong bias for action; a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results
- Sophisticated influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Benefits/ Working conditions
- $75,000 to $90,000 per year base salary plus production bonus.
