Job Summary:

World View is a technology leader in aerial data and analytics, utilizing persistent sensors in the stratosphere. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their collaborative team, focusing on exciting projects that enhance their data collection and delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Route planning algorithms

• Integration of 3rd party payloads, sensors, and components

• App development

• Cloud infrastructure

• Front end development

• Other projects and tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Required:

• BS in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering, or Computer Science

• 3+ years of experience coding in a professional environment

• Python – Main coding language. Great if you’re already a master. Still learning? We can work with that

• Front end – Typescript / React

• Linux – Ubuntu or Debian distributions preferred

• Dev Ops – Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD

• Networking – computer networking, VPN, DNS, multicast routing, etc

• Familiarity with Data Science and Statistics

• Willing and able to support team members with code reviews in a supportive environment

• Experience taking complex ideas and simplifying them

• Ability to translate engineering jargon and concepts into Software deliverables

• Great attitude, communication skills, and desire to work in a positive collaborative environment
