Job Summary

As a Licensed Counselor, you will deliver therapeutic services to individuals and families affected by addiction. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based treatment, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, and support clients in achieving and maintaining long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups on topics like substance use, coping skills, and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with clients to set measurable goals and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Work with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in addiction treatment.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Attend weekly case review meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required: Active LSAT, LAC, LSAT, LIAC, LAAC, or LPC license in Arizona.
• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience with substance use disorders (preferred).
• Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (preferred).
