Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will architect Jira deployments, integrate tooling, and support users through training, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Administer, configure, and customize Jira Cloud and the Atlassian suite, including building workflows, screens, fields, and permission schemes.

• Design, develop, and implement custom Jira solutions, plugins, and integrations to support evolving business and project requirements.

• Coordinate with Jira administrators to plan, schedule, and execute system upgrades, plugin installations, and environment maintenance.

• Monitor and manage Jira databases, troubleshoot configuration issues, and ensure stable, secure, and optimized system performance.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and support end‑to‑end delivery of software from development to production.

• Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to enhance adoption and ensure efficient usage of Jira tools across teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience administering, configuring, and developing within Jira Cloud and the broader Atlassian toolset.

• Proven expertise in designing custom Jira workflows, plugins, integrations, and managing enterprise‑level Jira environments.

• Strong technical background with experience in Unix/Linux, SQL databases, and code/release management tools such as Git or Bitbucket.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
