Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project Manager to oversee heavy civil utilities projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and utilities (ideally with water treatment plants), and will be responsible for leading project teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage utility projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet all specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resources needed.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project alignment and execution.
• Oversee on-site construction activities and enforce safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation for management review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or demonstrated heavy civil construction experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil sector and water/wastewater treatment plants.
• Knowledge of piping systems, SCADA systems, and electrical controls.
• Experience with trenchless pipe technologies and directional drilling is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
