Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Job Type: Contract
Work Schedule: 32 hours per week guaranteed
Location: Lakeside, AZ
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support rehabilitation services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
