Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. In this key role, you will be responsible for both generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with existing, valued clients. Our team of Account Executives works closely with internal teams to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop New Business: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets, using both inbound and outbound sales strategies.

Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by understanding their evolving needs and ensuring our products and services exceed expectations.

Sales Strategy & Execution: Utilize a consultative sales approach to uncover client needs, present appropriate solutions, and close new business deals.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, logistics, and product specialists, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Client Retention: Provide exceptional ongoing support to clients, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty through regular follow-ups and account reviews.

Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging market opportunities to effectively position the company’s products and services.

Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management to ensure goals are being met and targets are achieved.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Two or more years of successful outside sales experience.

Proven experience in sales preferably in a B2B or distribution environment, with a focus on both acquiring new business and managing existing accounts.

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Ability to understand complex business needs and develop tailored solutions.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
