The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Operations Specialist (AR & AP) to own and optimize our invoicing and accounts payable processes. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and system integrity across our accounting platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and solving system/process challenges—especially when it comes to integrations and data flow between tools like ERP, billing, and expense systems.

What You'll DoOwn AR & Invoicing

• Manage all invoicing, including complex and custom billing scenarios
• Ensure timely, accurate invoice processing and delivery
• Monitor AR aging and proactively follow up on outstanding balances
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies

Lead AP Processes

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable
• Process ACH, wires, and credit card transactions
• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and support 1099 reporting

Ensure Systems & Data Integrity

• Monitor and maintain integrations between systems (e.g., NetSuite, Bill.com, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across platforms
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data feeds
• Recommend and implement automation and process improvements

Support Accounting Operations

• Assist with month-end close and reconciliations
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
• Support compliance and reporting requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4–6+ years of experience across accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Experience with ERP systems ( NetSuite preferred )
• Experience with AP tools (e.g., Bill.com or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Experience working with system integrations and data flows is a strong plus
