As a Security Officer - Part Time Patrol in Yuma, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all employees and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the food and beverage production or distribution environment to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the location.
• Work collaboratively with client staff and other Allied Universal personnel to address incident response and/or security-related concerns as they arise.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and communicate clearly with both Allied Universal management and client contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An active armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
