RN - Tele Float Pool

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Float between all Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units across Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses
• Must be able to titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
• Required to pass dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 maximum attempts within 48 hours of offer)
• Must pass simulation lab on day one of orientation
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4 on telemetry units and 1:4 on medical-surgical units
• Weekend requirement of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (Saturday/Sunday for days, Friday/Saturday for nights)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be able to interpret EKGs and work with centralized telemetry monitoring
• May float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, observation floor, holding areas, and between campuses with 1.5 hours notice
• 2-day floor-specific orientation for each unit
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be comfortable with post-surgical patients, cardiovascular procedures, and neurological patients
• No pediatric patients (15 years and older only)
• Charting system: Cerner
