This role supports the production of temporary wire fence panels used at construction sites by performing physically demanding general labor tasks in a hot, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You work closely with a foreman, use basic hand tools and a tape measure, and contribute to moving, assembling, and wrapping fencing materials to meet daily production goals.

Responsibilities

• Report to the worksite for 1st shift at 2:00 a.m. and work until tasks are complete, typically Monday through Friday for an average of 50–55 hours per week.
• Partner with a foreman to build temporary wire fence panels for use at construction sites across the area.
• Wrap temporary panels with chain link and ensure secure and consistent wrapping according to production standards.
• Use a tape measure and hand tools, including pliers, to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
• Move and position materials around the facility to prepare them for wrapping and assembly.
• Perform heavy lifting of 50–75 pounds repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Remain on your feet for the majority of the shift while working in a hot manufacturing environment.
• Follow safety procedures while working around machinery in a loud production facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly.

• Previous general labor experience in a hot work environment.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds consistently for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to stand and be on your feet throughout the workday.
• Comfort working in a loud manufacturing facility around machinery.
• Experience using basic hand tools such as pliers.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Willingness to work early morning 1st shift starting at 2:00 a.m.
• Reliability and strong work ethic to support long workweeks of approximately 50–55 hours.

• Background in general production, manufacturing, or landscaping work.
• Experience performing heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with general production processes and working in team-based environments.
• Comfort working outdoors or in hot temperatures for extended periods.

Work Environment

You work in a manufacturing facility with a loud environment and active machinery, requiring strong attention to safety and awareness. The schedule follows a 1st shift starting at 2:00 a.m., typically Monday through Friday, with average weekly hours of 50–55 and early release on most Fridays around 10:00 a.m. The dress code includes long pants and steel-toe boots, with a long-sleeve shirt recommended to protect from the sun.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix,AZ.
