Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations for one of our healthcare clients on an interim basis. This long-term contract position involves managing various accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks and a deep understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the general ledger by ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Analyze financial data and generate detailed reports for management review.
• Develop and implement accounting policies to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Supervise payroll processing for employees across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Manage all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor reconciliation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collections to ensure timely payment and reduce outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with billing staff to resolve discrepancies and improve billing processes.
• Maintain compliance with payroll tax regulations and file necessary returns.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team to ensure high performance.
• Proven experience in general ledger management, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience managing payroll for organizations with 100-500 employees.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement efficient accounting workflows.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
