Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Specialist in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas in a healthcare location, helping to support a secure environment through routine patrols, visible presence, and customer-focused communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to respond across the location while providing security-related support with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, hallways, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with directional questions, monitoring high-traffic areas, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
