How You'll Contribute

Join our team in a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning. Work with cutting-edge technology. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the Medical-Surgical setting in accordance with established CVMC standards of practice and AACN guidelines.

The Medical-Surgical Department is a 34 bed unit. The RN assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs. Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients. Develops individual nursing care plans. Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed. Evaluates patient care outcomes. Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees. Administers medications, treatments and therapies. Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care. Provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to condition. Accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.

What we're looking for:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Must obtain ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire.
