Desired Qualifications
- Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License (required)
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card (required)
- Demonstrated experience teaching English (ELA: Reading, Writing, and Comprehension)
- Strong background in general education settings and familiarity with co-teaching models
- SPED licensure preferred
- Proximity to the school site and flexibility to work onsite (remote/virtual work is not an option)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Role Responsibilities
- Co-teach in designated English classes, coordinating lesson plans and instructional activities
- Provide targeted support to students in all aspects of English language arts
- Collaborate with general education and special education staff to adapt and differentiate instruction
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom atmosphere
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in all meetings or planning sessions as needed
- Uphold district, state, and school policies and procedures
