As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity, respond to alarms and/or site concerns, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, check inbound and outbound traffic, and document deliveries, pickups, and/or visitor activity in line with post procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, assisting with evacuations, and documenting security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
