Location: Chandler or Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

We are partnered with a highly respected mid‑sized CPA firm in the Phoenix metro area , with offices in Chandler and Scottsdale . The firm is seeking a full‑time Tax Manager who enjoys building client relationships, mentoring teams, and growing within a collaborative, people‑first environment .

As a Tax Manager , you will take ownership of tax engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This role combines technical tax leadership with people management and business development opportunities.

• Review complex individual, partnership, S‑corporation, and other income tax returns
• Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff on both technical and professional development
• Perform tax research and prepare memoranda and recommendations
• Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and identify planning opportunities
• Serve as the primary client contact, gathering information, resolving issues, and recommending solutions
• Manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously
• Participate in networking and business development efforts
• Support firm growth through referrals and client expansion
• Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area

• 5–8+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Active CPA license required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior management experience within a public accounting firm
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Professional, dependable, and client‑focused mindset
