The Position

We're seeking an experienced Special Education Resource Teacher to support students in grades 2–4 at an elementary school in the San Tan Valley area for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, in-person resource role with a manageable, evenly distributed caseload of 25 students or fewer.

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized instruction and resource support to students in grades 2–4 with diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Track and document student goals, progress, and outcomes
• Maintain a caseload of 25 students or fewer, kept evenly balanced

What You'll Bring

• Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience teaching grades 2–4 as a Special Education Teacher
• Current Arizona DPS Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Strong collaboration, organization, and case-management skills

Preferred

• Cross-Categorical Special Education K–8 certification
