Responsibilities:
Program Development & Leadership:
- Design, launch, and manage a comprehensive OSP program to deliver a client’s multi-year infrastructure initiative.
- Drive business expansion by recruiting, onboarding, training, and overseeing both in-house crews and subcontractor teams.
- Offer strategic direction through every stage of the program lifecycle, from cost estimation and budgeting to delivery and final closeout.
Project Management:
- Direct day-to-day OSP program operations, including scheduling, procurement, progress tracking, and coordination of subcontractors.
- Maintain precise and compliant execution of all contract administration tasks.
- Partner with executive leadership to align project outcomes with corporate objectives, ensuring clear and consistent communication and reporting.
Financial Planning & Oversight:
- Create and maintain project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track profitability, analyze cost variances, and apply cost-control measures to maximize efficiency.
- Allocate labor and resources strategically to deliver optimal financial results.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and support project managers, field supervisors, and crew leads.
- Promote a workplace culture centered on safety, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing guidance, feedback, and training to strengthen team skills and performance.
Skills/Must have:
- Over 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Program or Project Management, specifically within OSP construction, fiber installation, HDD, or utility infrastructure projects.
- Track record of successfully creating, scaling, and managing large, multi-crew operations.
- In-depth knowledge of construction estimating, financial forecasting, and resource allocation strategies.
- Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing field teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to influence and lead a wide range of stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Strategic thinker with a data-informed, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
