Salary: $17/hr and up depending on experience

Hours: Day shift Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm (occasional overtime available)

Must reside in the Phoenix Metro Valley with the ability to reliably commute to Tempe, AZ 85284.

Background check and drug/alcohol testing mandatory.

Preference to individuals with prior dietary supplement or nutraceutical industry experience.

QAQC Technician Role and Responsibilities:

QA/QC technicians work in production to ensue manufacturing processes and products meet the company’s specifications. They maintain processes, materials, and environment to meet government agency regulations. Through their work, they help minimize waste, improve productivity on the production line and ensure customers receive products that are fit for use. Technician will observe production operations, equipment, and environment to ensure that the specifications are being met and make necessary adjustments to processes/assemblies/products. Technicians are expected to perform routine audits, and reviews. Technicians are responsible for reporting any deviations to their supervisor and suggesting corrective measures.

QAQC Technician Duties:

Production

o Ensure label accuracy and visual appearance standards are met

o Verify lot information and documentation is correct.

o Suggest corrective steps for deviations that may arise.

Environment

o Enforcing laboratory safety and sanitation rules

o Routine tests/inspections of workstation cleanliness: Swab testing for presence of bacteria.

· FDA, GMP, and other government agency regulation

o Responsible for knowing and enforcing government regulations as assigned by Supervisor.

o Keeping up to date on changes to government regulations

o Update lab protocols to reflect FDA, GMP, and other government regulations/requirements/suggestions.

· Complete additional tasks/duties as assigned.

QAQC Technician Skills and Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous QAQC experience preferred – 2 years.
• Proficient with Excel and Word
• Demonstrates ability to work independently with ability to take direction well.
• Meticulous attention to detail while being able to multi-task.
• Dependable and quality oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good team working skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to sit or stand at station for up to 8 hours in a day.
• Ability to work overtime as requested.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach or crawl as necessary.
• Consent to background check and drug/alcohol testing mandatory.
