Job Summary: The General Manager to lead our Arizona storefronts. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, staff management, inventory control, and assist with marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and exceed customer expectations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service, and ensuring that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support to maximize individual and team performance.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintenance of store facilities and equipment.
- Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer receives prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance, while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store at all times.
- Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and generate sales leads.
- Vendor and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products, negotiate favorable terms, and stay informed about industry trends and developments.
- Financial Management: Monitor individual store performances and financial targets, analyze sales data and trends, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry regulations and safety standards, to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop others to achieve their full potential.
- Solid understanding of operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service best practices.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of artificial turf products and installation techniques (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, employees, and vendors.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of success in driving sales and managing a high-performing team.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
Compensation:
Starting Base Rate: $75,000 plus bonus structure DOE
Benefits:
- Will be eligible for health insurance the first day of the first full month following 30 days employed with The Recreational Group
