Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials including CCC and school certification to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Phoenix, AZ. This contract position spans the 2023-2024 school year, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs and incorporate therapy goals into the classroom setting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with IDEA and school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team efforts for student success
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and certification to practice as an SLP in schools
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a K-12 educational environment
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Contract for the 2023-2024 school year
