The Assistant Supervisor supports daily quality operations in both Process Quality Control (PQC) and the Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures that processes, materials, and finished products meet company and customer standards. It includes people management, system compliance, project coordination, and cross-department collaboration.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Quality Control (PQC)Oversee quality control processes within the component workshop.
Monitor and improve process yield and product conformity.
Lead evaluations and updates to process and product standards.
Ensure proper implementation of process parameters, material use, and personnel operations.
Coordinate the investigation and resolution of production anomalies and quality issues.
Track new material/product evaluations and ensure compliant rollouts.
Support customer complaint investigations and on-line corrective actions.
Maintain and improve internal quality systems and documentation.
Lead internal audits and support external certification audits.
Train and support departmental quality admins and internal auditors.
Manage three-standard (ISO-like) compliance across departments.
Define responsibilities and KPIs for engineers and team members.
Conduct performance reviews, training, and team structure optimization.
Promote communication through team discussions and feedback sessions.
Lead scheduling, work-hour tracking, and ensure EHS compliance.
Monitor safety practices in controlled areas and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Conduct routine safety inspections and support emergency drills.
Review supply needs (e.g., PPE, tools), approve purchases, and set control measures.
Build and manage PQC budgets and drive departmental cost reduction plans.
Support contract/order reviews, customer certifications, and interdepartmental coordination.
Strong experience in quality control, team supervision, and process optimization.
Familiarity with QMS, ISO standards, and customer audits.
Effective communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
Ability to handle data analysis, project coordination, and process improvement.
