Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The position involves building applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL databases, and requires implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins.

Rate Range: $48/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Build REST APIs and backend services with strong understanding of SQL and relational database design.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins to ensure smooth deployments.

• Develop scalable batch processes using Spring Batch and ensure robust data processing workflows.

• Apply Java multithreading and concurrency principles to create efficient, high‑throughput application components.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance while proactively adopting new technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in core Java development and building enterprise‑level applications.

• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases, and CI/CD tools such as Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins.

• Proven experience with Java multithreading/concurrency and batch processing using Spring Batch for scalable application development.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $51.00 per hour
