RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule requires three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s)
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Black scrubs required for dress code
• Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in emergency situations
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel
• Work in 38-bed emergency department
• NIH certification recommended but not required
• Facility is Trauma Level III Certified, Stroke Receiving, and STEMI Receiving
