100% onsiteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Regular and predictable attendance is required. Proficiency in reading, and writing in English along with the ability to be pass certification classes including Torque, Safetying Practices, Mixing and Sealant.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.Daily tasks include repair, modification and or assembly of AH-64 mechanical components.Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training - Yes, formal classroom at the lab location.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 35lbs and remain standing for extended periods of time.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).WORK HOURS:
