We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $20/hr with substantial growth opportunities based on performance. You can boost your earnings within a short timeframe:

• Starting Pay: $20/hr
• At 6-Months: $20.50/hr
• At 12-Months: $21.50/hr

After 6 months you unlock our performance-based, Careers Not Jobs program which allows eligible team members a compensation increase ($0.50) every 90 days*.

About the team and position
We're looking for a Payment Resolution Specialist. This position is customer-facing - you will need to have superior communication skills and be able to multitask with the swiftness of a ninja. You will be working closely with customers to resolve outstanding payments along with other members of the Treasury Operations team. You'll handle inbound and outbound collection calls, professionally collect payments from customers according to their payment schedules, identify reasons for account delinquency, and escalate such issues to the appropriate channels. You will be a go-to person for all payment resolutions within this department! Most importantly, you will see your knowledge and insights have an immediate, tangible daily impact in a well-funded and rapidly growing company.

What you'll be doing

• Be the voice of Carvana. This will entail a heavy amount of customer interaction via phone.
• Review open accounts for collection efforts.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries related to payment resolution.
• Make outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
• Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and escalate accordingly.
• Actively resolves loan servicing issues with business partners.
• Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports.
• Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.

What you should know/have

• Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
• Creative, self-disciplined, and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks. independently and with a sense of urgency.
• Familiarity with laws related to debt collection and Accounts receivable experience is preferred.
• A sense of humor - Kinda serious about this one
• A love for working with others and a strong understanding of teamwork
• Strong ability to communicate and execute processes effectively within the team setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
