Equipment Service Technician
Join a dedicated team as an Equipment Service Technician, where you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment including small engines, generators, and roofing tools. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with early morning hours, reporting directly to the Yard Manager. The role involves both in-yard work and occasional visits to jobsites to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair small engine equipment, generators, and roofing equipment.
- Perform routine servicing and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat.
- Operate a forklift (training provided if needed).
- Travel to jobsites as required to service or repair project equipment.
- Collaborate with the Yard Manager and team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience working with small engine equipment, generators, or similar machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn forklift operation (training provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Having a personal truck is a plus, but not required.
Compensation
$23 per hour | Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm
