As a Security Professional - Unarmed Media Patrols in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations as they arise. You will interact with a diverse range of people and provide exceptional customer service, utilizing strong communication skills to address inquiries and offer assistance as needed. This is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for safely operating company or client vehicles while performing patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access within a technology and media environment.
• Report and document any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local emergency services as needed during emergency response activities.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
