Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Granite Fabricator to join our Operations Department in Phoenix, AZ. This role reports directly to the Chief of Stone and is responsible for fabricating granite countertops, vanities, and backsplashes to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect shipments of granite and quartz slabs.
• Operate forklifts to move slabs from crates to the saw table.
• Enter design specifications using CAD software.
• Operate CNC machinery to cut sink holes and other precise shapes.
• Use handheld power tools (such as grinders, polishers, and drills) to finish edges and surfaces.
• Prepare completed materials for transport to job sites.
• Maintain clean and organized work spaces.
• Communicate daily progress and issues to the Chief of Stone.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints.
• Familiarity with standard power tools: grinders, polishers, drills, saws, etc.
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required (training available).
• Willingness to work overtime, night shifts, and occasional weekends as needed.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift/move materials to 50 lbs.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching as part of daily tasks.
