Job Overview
The Quality Technician is responsible for all quality system duties including ensuring adherence of all company procedures and policies in compliance with 21 CFR Part 111 for dietary supplements and state and local health and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Performing daily quality in-process checks and documenting/signing off on all tasks.
- Collecting and preparing samples needed for testing, AQL, investigations, retention, etc.
- Collect & Analyze data in order to prepare graphs, charts, etc. to clearly communicate results & recommend process improvements and/or identify areas for improvement.
- Responsible for adhering to all document control policies and procedures, including but not limited to, preparing, issuance, review, approval, scanning and retention.
- Performing batch record reviews for accuracy and completeness.
- Responsible for daily walk-throughs/audit checks on all processes and checking the premises and GMP areas for compliance with 21 CFR Part 111 regulation requirements.
- Responsible for completing change controls, deviations, material reviews, and investigations as needed.
- Creating, updating, and implementing SOPs, policies, forms, and other controlled documents. .
- Investigating and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
- Assist in 3rd party and regulatory audits as needed.
- Provide feedback to company management and advising on changes.
- Trains other staff and contractors as needed.
- Follow all required work safe practices.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety, cGMP, food processing, HACCP, food defense policies/guidelines.
- Support and help implement continuous process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
College Degree - Associates or Bachelor’s - in a science related field preferred.
Certifications, Special Skills:
- cGMP, HACCP, Food Safety
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Statistical Analysis
- Attention to detail a must
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience at food, dietary, or related manufacturing facility.

- Monday through Friday
- Extended Hours as needed
