We are looking for a Junior Cleaning Supervisor for the Phoenix and surrounding areas. The role requires experience, organization, supervision as well as a can-do mindset. You are expected to step-in for your team as needed and constantly train and guide them to improve and work with the team. This job is 50 percent management and 50 percent cleaning.

The schedule is typically Monday - Friday, 5 days, 8 am to 4 pm (8 hours shift), 40 hours per week. Flexibility is needed if, due to business requirements, work needs to be done on weekends. In lieu days off are provided in these cases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site teams in the Phoenix area (5-6 cleaners) to ensure services are delivered according to the scope of work.
• Actively participating in cleaning tasks for 50% of the shift (i.e. 20h/week) while overseeing and ensuring the quality of work performed by the cleaning team.
• Comfortable and personal while Interacting with clients if any day-to-day communication/coordination is required
• Organize shifts, ensuring coverage for the team
• Work Hands-on in the field and not shy away from a full day of cleaning if someone needs to be covered or extra periodic services must be done
• Utilize and train to utilize equipment such as floor scrubbers, leaf blowers, power washers, trash compactors, etc.
• Perform spot checks, maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Constantly train the team, ensuring an excellent level of cleanliness, safe use of chemicals and good equipment conditions
• Monitors and maintains supplies and inventory
• Operate our technology and train others in using our APP
• Any other duty as assigned by line manager

Must-Haves to Be Considered:

• Strong communication skills in English. Spanish proficiency a strong plus.
• 5+ years experience leading a cleaning/janitorial team
• 8+ years experience as a a janitorial professional, predominantly in Multi residential or large multi-family communities with amenities
• Strong experience and ability in organizing each team member's daily line based on the scope of work (Where do they start, where they are supposed to be each moment of the day, where do they end)
• Experienced in training your crew in several areas (e.g. equipment usage, floor polishing, mirror and windows, stainless steel, daily vs weekly, vs periodic services, etc.), health and safety, cleaning products
• Experience operating and maintaining equipment such as scrubbers, carpet cleaning, burnishers, bin pullers, and trash compactors, and training others in doing so safely.
• Ability to estimate manpower requirements for new sites based on a walkthrough.
• Tech-savvy. Comfortable using technology on phone or laptop including but not limited to APPs, Microsoft office or Google Workspace (especially Excel / Google Sheets)
• Mobile phone with internet access
• Driver's license and a car is required
• Eligibility to work in US is required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate: $24 per hour
