About the Role

We’re seeking a Lead Technician / Technical Trainer with strong experience in winder equipment to join our team. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership — you’ll serve as the subject matter expert on winding systems while training and mentoring technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality performance.

What You’ll Do

• Train and mentor technicians on safe and effective operation of winder equipment.

• Develop and deliver training materials, SOPs, and hands-on demonstrations.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain winding machinery and related systems.

• Lead by example in technical excellence, safety, and reliability practices.

• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to implement process improvements.

• Document training activities, equipment procedures, and maintenance records.

• Support onboarding of new hires and upskilling of existing team members.

• Serve as the first point of escalation for winding equipment issues.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of technician experience with winder equipment (manufacturing or industrial setting).

• Proven background in training, mentoring, or leading technicians.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, or automation systems.

• Ability to create and deliver clear, effective training materials.

• Skilled in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Flexibility to work any shift depending on training needs.
