HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel PACU RN for an acute care setting in Oro Valley, AZ. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Position Overview:
The PACU Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective post-anesthesia care while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff. The RN utilizes the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts

• Hours: 05:45AM-6PM AND 07:45AM-8:30PM

On-Call Requirements:

• 1 overnight 12-hour call per week (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

• 2 weekend 24-hour calls every 6 weeks (6:00 AM – 6:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia nursing care

• Anticipate and plan for patient needs to ensure safe recovery

• Monitor patients for post-operative complications

• Delegate and supervise patient care activities appropriately

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Requirements:

• Active Arizona RN License

• BLS and ACLS

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience

• Cerner EMR experience preferred
