Title: Quality Engineer Location: Phoenix AZ 72901 Area Codes: 480, 602, 623 Pay rate: $32.00-38.00 per hour Employment Type: Direct, full time Shift: 1st Belcan is actively seeking to hire a Quality Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, direct position offers full benefits and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in manufactured electronic quality engineering. Ideal candidates will bring a technical engineering degree and relevant experience in quality engineering, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough quality investigations and coordinate the communication of failure analysis reports with stakeholders.
• Analyze and report on first-pass yield data, driving quality improvements and operational efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate meetings with stakeholders to advance investigations and reach effective conclusions.
• Mentor team members on quality-related issues, fostering a collaborative and proactive quality culture.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for reviews, ensuring transparency and effective communication of quality metrics.
• Lead Multi-Component Analysis Board (MCAB) meetings, presenting findings and guiding discussions on quality enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Computer savvy; experience with MRP, ERP, and SAP.
• Proficient in data analysis, with a keen ability to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating with stakeholders and leading quality discussions.
• Independent and motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented, with a belief in the power of collaboration and teamwork.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in electronic manufacturing and/or electronic assembly environments.
• Background in the aerospace manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
