Multi-Trade Handyman – Work Directly With Company President!

*12‑Month Project Role – Full-Time – Day Shift (8am–5pm)*

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Trade Project Technician to support our President across a wide range of hands‑on internal projects for the next 12 months. This role is dynamic, fast‑paced, and essential to the success of several construction, repair, and improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys problem‑solving, takes initiative, and can work independently across multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute work across ongoing and upcoming internal projects, including CGP yard improvements and equipment repairs.
• Assist with construction and service-related work, including helping build a new office space.
• Perform residential construction tasks and property upgrade projects.
• Manage and prioritize diverse tasks while reporting directly to the President.
• Coordinate day-to-day responsibilities and adapt to shifting project needs.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience in plumbing, construction, carpentry, and project management .
• Strong abilities in framing, drywall, mechanical work, electrical, painting, customer service, concrete, and trailer repair.
• Proficiency in equipment-focused mechanical work: yard equipment, trailers, small machinery repair.
• Welding skills including MIG, flux core, and stick welding .
• Experience with finish carpentry, metal framing, plumbing, and concrete finishing.
• Basic electrical knowledge with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on heavy machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, boilers, or sheet metal is a strong plus.
• History in automotive mechanical work and TIG welding is a bonus, but not required.
• Experience with grading for landscaping and site prep for new construction.
• Flooring installation and repair experience (tile, wood, laminate, concrete).

Work Environment

• Standard work schedule: 8am–5pm .
• Included: work uniforms, cell phone, gas card, and access to the company’s Home Depot account for materials and supplies.
• A company vehicle is provided and may be taken home for all work-related travel.
• Position includes an on-call rotation for emergency responses during nights, weekends, and holidays.
• On-call schedules are provided approximately six weeks in advance .

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Tempe,AZ.
