UI Developer

Akkodis is seeking an UI Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ/ Raleigh, NC. You will design component‑driven UIs, build resilient APIs, and drive cloud‑native architectures while ensuring performance, observability, and high coding standards .

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UI Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design and deliver scalable, component‑driven UIs and backend services using React 18+ and Node.js.

• Build and maintain resilient REST/GraphQL APIs with strong versioning, performance, and reliability standards.

• Implement secure coding practices including OWASP controls, OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, encryption, and compliance alignment (PCI, SOC2, GDPR/CCPA).

• Ensure high code quality through automated testing (Jest, RTL, Cypress) and continuous performance optimization.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive roadmap execution, production readiness, and cloud‑native deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Mentor engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and help elevate engineering standards across the team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years with modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Expert proficiency in React (Hooks, Context, Suspense) for building scalable, component‑driven UIs.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and designing high‑performance APIs.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
