Organizational Incentive Program Annually, up to 10% (7% at target) Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Life Insurance and LTD Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance options 403b employer match and profit sharing Tuition Assistance Program Employee Assistance Program Employee Wellness Program Tobacco Free Workplace About the Donor Support Coordinator I: This is a 24/7 operation with 12 hour shifts. ***Must be flexible & available for Day or Night shifts*** The Donor Support Coordinator screens patient medical and social history with nurses, family members, administrative personnel, and technicians; donor case management, customer service, adherence to policy, bulletins, and advisories; document accurately, thoroughly, timely, and professionally according to department procedures; coordinates and dispatches technician teams; Obtains and verifies the legal consent. Communicates and guides next of kin family members providing information about the gift of donation immediately after the loss of a loved one. Extensive training, coaching and development leading to competency certification as required to perform job duties. Must be able to retain and recall knowledge, leverage experience and training to obtain and accurately document a vast array of medical and social history for the purposes of transplantation. Requirements: Donor Network of Arizona is seeking an emotionally strong, genuine, compassionate, intuitive and mission driven individual to medical screen patients with hospital staff, medical examiners, nurses, and organ recovery coordinators, evaluating lifesaving transplant donation suitability. This Donor Support Coordinator must possess a strong desire to help others and be comfortable frequently working with families over the phone at their most devastating time of loss. Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in working as part of a team of professionals dedicated to on-going learning with one another in a collaborative style. Because of the nature of the work, this person must have proven experience in managing and resolving conflicts in a positive way. You must possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Working knowledge of various cultures and their beliefs, as well as experience with diverse populations. Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred, or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic computer literacy with a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm Definitive Team Player Ability to connect with families in a meaningful way Scribe experience a plus. *Bilingual is a plus* Donor Network of Arizona is a drug-free workplace.
