The Big Task
You will build and lead a high-performing Electrical Service Department. This isnt just about managing day-to-day operationsits about developing a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth. We need someone who can both grow a department strategically and develop team members personally and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Scale: Develop the electrical service department into a best-in-class operation, laying the foundation for sustainable growth.
- Recruit & Develop: Hire, train, and mentor top talentcreating a team that delivers both exceptional customer experiences and strong results.
- Coach & Inspire: Foster personal and professional growth in team members, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable to high standards.
- Collaborate: Partner with the dispatch department to ensure the right technician is on the right job, maximizing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Drive Performance: Inspire technicians to hit goals and continually improve, ensuring the department achieves and exceeds business objectives.
- Lead by Example: Model ownership, accountability, and a customer-first mindset in every interaction.
What Were Looking For
- Proven success in growing and developing a department, division, or company.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in service management, preferably in electrical, HVAC, or related trades.
- Ability to coach and inspire team members, fostering both skill development and career growth.
- Strong track record of achieving business results and driving operational excellence.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and leadership presence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable leveraging technology to drive performance.
