Retail Human Resources Business Partner

Job Overview:
As a Regional Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting and driving the human resources strategy for our organization's retail division. With oversight of 1000+ retail stores within your designated region, you will collaborate closely with store leadership and corporate HR teams to ensure the effective implementation of HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR practices with the retail division's strategic priorities.
- Provide guidance and resolution on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Address and investigate employee concerns, grievances, and disputes, fostering a positive work environment.
- Work closely with talent acquisition teams to ensure effective recruitment strategies for store-level positions.
- Implement talent management initiatives to identify and develop high-potential employees within the region.
- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring fair and objective evaluations.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance improvement plans.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with training teams to implement development programs.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee sentiment.
- Partner with other regional HR Business Partners and corporate HR functions to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
- Collaborate with store managers and leaders to address HR-related challenges and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed.
