Position Brief – Project Engineer

- Manage the change order process from initiation to execution, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and update ProCore project records, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and logs.
- Support the Project Management team in tracking budgets, schedules, and project milestones.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants to gather, review, and process required documentation.
- Assist in preparing and distributing project reports, meeting minutes, and communication logs.
- Ensure project documentation meets Optima’s standards for accuracy, detail, and timeliness.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to ensure smooth project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with ProCore and Microsoft Office tools required.
- 2–4 years of experience in a construction project support role (project engineer, coordinator, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail, accuracy, and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
