Pay: $22.00 per hour

You will lead, mentor, and oversee third-party contractors to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

As the Project Support Specialist, you are the bridge between plant leadership and outside contractors. Your day-to-day will include:

• Safety & Quality Leadership: Act as the primary monitor for all onsite contractor projects, ensuring strict adherence to EHS&S (Safety) and GMP (Quality) standards.
• Onsite Liaison: Serve as the "go-to" person for contractors, providing essential training on site-specific procedures and plant regulations.
• Operational Excellence: Conduct safety and quality checklists, oversee sanitation practices, and help keep projects on track.
• Problem Solving: Assist with root-cause investigations if issues arise and implement solutions to prevent future hazards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare reports to keep plant leadership informed of project status.

What You’ll Need (Requirements):

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment (Required).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead projects, communicate effectively with diverse teams, and solve problems on the fly.
• Technical Savvy: Comfort working with both technical contractor teams and site management.
• Flexibility: A "get the job done" mindset with the ability to adjust your schedule based on project timelines and onsite needs.
