PURPOSE
RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of pickleball programming and experience.
- Act as an ambassador for the pickleball community, fostering relationships within and beyond the club.
- Ensure alignment with company culture and values while upholding the integrity of the pickleball experience.
- Oversee the organization and execution of internal and external events, tournaments, and social offerings.
PRODUCT
RESPONSIBILITY
- Develop and deliver industry-leading pickleball programs, leagues, clinics, and events tailored to all skill levels.
- Ensure facilities, equipment, and resources meet the highest standards for functionality and presentation.
- Utilize customer feedback to refine programs and improve satisfaction scores.
- Promote active participation and engagement through strategic marketing and communications.
PROCESS
RESPONSIBILITY
- Design and execute short- and long-term strategies for program growth and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate program schedules, ensuring alignment with member needs and facility capacity.
- Leverage technology and reporting systems to monitor program performance and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular evaluations of programming to ensure alignment with community trends and interests.
PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITY
- Deliver a pickleball experience that exceeds customer expectations and drives loyalty.
- Drive membership growth and retention through innovative programming and exceptional customer service.
- Set and achieve measurable KPIs, including program participation rates, member retention, and revenue growth.
- Maintain a balanced approach to innovation, performance, and financial sustainability.
- Continuously assess and optimize the impact of programming on club success.
PEOPLE
RESPONSIBILITY
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of pickleball professionals and support staff.
- Foster a culture of respect, empowerment, and accountability among team members.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with members, sponsors, and community partners.
- Mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive program success.
MUST HAVES
- Bachelor's degree in sports management, recreation, business, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in sports program management, preferably in pickleball or recreational sports.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to design and implement successful programming strategies and events.
- Passion for pickleball and commitment to fostering a thriving community.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and program metrics.
- Physical ability to engage with members and staff across the facility.
- Relentless drive in the pursuit of excellence and performance and world class customer experience.
