Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Location: Gilbert, Arizona (85295) – Explore Arizona occupational therapy jobs in a vibrant, family-friendly city with sunny weather and excellent amenities.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 4, 2025 – November 3, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour day shifts)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2120–$2180 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license/certification in Arizona
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in inpatient rehab, acute care, or clinical healthcare settings
• Experience with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Current BLS certification (preferred)

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans to optimize health, function, and quality of life
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive clinical support and patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercises, and recovery strategies
