Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 484834
Vaco Arizona is partnering with a top client in Tolleson that is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys overseeing accounting operations while leading key financial processes, including Accounts Payable, payroll review, and month-end close activities.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment approvals
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Review payroll for accuracy and resolve discrepancies prior to processing
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial data
- Assist with cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls
- Support internal and external audit requests
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Requirements:
- Hands-on accounting experience with strong Accounts Payable and month-end close expertise
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
