PURPOSE
• The Membership Sales Manager is responsible for driving new pickleball membership growth, controlling attrition, fostering community engagement, and enhancing the overall pickleball experience for our members. This role requires strategic leadership to ensure membership sales align with company culture and values while upholding the integrity of the pickleball experience.
PRODUCT
• Develop and deliver membership sales strategies to attract and retain members.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, General Manager, Pickleball Experience Manager, and Director of Sales and Performance to create targeted campaigns and promotional events.
• Oversee CRM systems to manage membership data, track key performance metrics, and report progress.
• Ensure all membership programs align with industry standards and member expectations.
PROCESS
• Design and execute short- and long-term membership growth strategies.
• Coordinate program schedules, ensuring alignment with facility capacity and member needs.
• Leverage technology to track program performance and customer engagement.
• Regularly evaluate sales strategies to ensure effectiveness and alignment with market trends.
PERFORMANCE
• Deliver an exceptional membership experience that exceeds customer expectations and drives loyalty.
• Set and achieve measurable KPIs, including program participation rates, member retention, churn rate, and revenue growth.
PEOPLE
• Build and sustain positive relationships with prospective and current members.
• Recruit, train, and develop an integrity-driven membership team.
• Foster a culture of respect, empowerment, and accountability within the team.
• Mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive program success.
Requirements:IDEAL ATTRIBUTES
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sports management, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales or membership management, preferably within the pickleball, fitness, or hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate potential members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for pickleball and a commitment to promoting its growth and development.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to move quickly around the facility to assist members and guests.
