The Role: What You’ll Do

This is not a "sit and wait for the door to swing open" kind of job. At Surprise Ford, we sell cars off appointments. Your success will be directly tied to your hustle and your ability to build your own book of business through relentless outbound effort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outbound Prospecting: Spend a high volume of your day making outbound phone calls, sending texts, and drafting emails to generate leads and book appointments.
  • The "Road to the Sale": Seamlessly guide customers through our proven sales process—from a warm greeting to the final delivery.
  • Expert Fact-Finding: Ask the right questions, listen intently, and accurately identify customer needs to match them with the perfect new or pre-owned vehicle.
  • Product Expertise: Become a certified Ford product genius. You will eventually be expected to know our cars, trucks, and SUVs inside and out to deliver high-level walkarounds.
  • Follow-Up & CRM Diligence: Consistently track all customer interactions and aggressively follow up with unsold prospects.
Who You Are (Requirements)

We are looking for self-starters who aren’t afraid of puting in the hours it takes to win. If you love cars, love talking to people, and possess a competitive drive, you’ll fit right in.

  • The Hustle: High level of discipline and a strong work ethic. You aren't afraid of the phone or putting in the hours necessary to generate opportunities.
  • The Personality: Outgoing, charismatic, resilient, and genuinely passionate about the automotive industry.
  • The Commute: Preferably living in the West Valley (Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, etc.) to ensure a reliable commute and consistent punctuality.
  • The Schedule: Flexible availability to work a rotating schedule within our operating hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
  • The Legal Stuff: Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record, and be able to pass a comprehensive background check (no prior arrests, misdemeanors, or felonies).
