**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the educational environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols around the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
+ Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
+ Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor movement within the property.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and visitors to provide information and assistance as needed.
+ Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, following site-specific protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
